Here is a question worth asking at the end of your morning meeting or advisory where you have shared pieces of today’s First Five:
Which activity was your favorite today?
Then let them vote on it.
How the Crown Works
Every activity in the day’s edition has a crown.
Once your class picks their favorite, tap the crown on that activity. That is your class’s vote for the day.
Then take a look at Today’s Most Loved to see what classrooms around the world crowned as their favorite that same morning. Sometimes you will match. Sometimes you will be the only room that went all in on the meme, and that is half the fun.
Changed Your Mind? Move It.
Say you crown the quote first thing, and then the EdGame turns into the most fun your class has had all week.
Move the crown.
Your vote updates, and Today’s Most Loved updates right along with it. Nothing is locked in, so there is no reason to overthink it.
Why We Built It
Because we want to know.
We spend a lot of time deciding what goes into each edition, and the crown is the clearest signal we get about whether we got it right. Every vote tells us what landed, what your students want to see more of, and what we should be building next.
It is the fastest feedback form we have ever made, and you fill it out in about two seconds.
A Small Thing Worth Doing
The crown takes almost no time, and it gives students one more moment of ownership over how the day starts. They picked. Their pick counted. Their classroom showed up on a board alongside classrooms around the world.
So tomorrow, before you move into content, ask the question.
Then let them vote on which one you crown.
Open today’s First Five and find the crown above each activity.
Reminder: Edtomorrow.com is designed for educators and students should not be viewing nor crowning activities on their own devices.
