Last year, Spanish had its own separate First Five edition. This year, we have made it easier than ever to access Spanish content right where you are already working.
Spanish is now built directly into every Junior, Primary, and Secondary daily edition. There is no separate page to find, link to save, or additional edition to manage. When you open the First Five, Spanish is already there waiting for you.
Two Easy Ways to Use Spanish
You can now choose exactly how much of the First Five you want to view in Spanish.
At the top of each edition, you will see an option to view the entire First Five in Spanish. With one click, the edition changes to Spanish, including headings, activity labels, descriptions, character traits, prompting questions, and more.
Only need one activity in Spanish? Use the Spanish Flip icon beneath an individual component. This allows you to flip a single card to Spanish without changing the rest of the edition.
You might keep the full edition in English and flip one activity as needed, or switch the entire page to Spanish for a bilingual classroom experience. It is flexible, simple, and built directly into the First Five you already use.
Why We Made This Change
We know educators are already managing full plates. Accessing Spanish content should not require another bookmark, another page, or another set of steps.
By including Spanish in every edition, we hope to make it easier for you to share the same daily activities, conversations, and experiences with more members of your classroom community.
